According to Brazoria County Jail records, Davis has been arrested multiple times by the Pearland Police Department and Brazoria County Sheriff's Office.
Alvin ISD spokesman Daniel Combs said the district first became aware of the Texas Department of Public Safety investigation after an altercation happened at Manvel High School in April 2016, which involved an accusation that one student was involved in an "illicit activity, unrelated to the campus." When Alvin ISD police broadened the scope of their investigation to verify the accusation, they learned of the TDPS investigation.
Combs said Alvin ISD doled out "appropriate discipline" to the students involved in the altercation.
He was also arrested on two misdemeanor charges in 2014.
Phone numbers listed for Davis' parents were disconnected.
