Excel vba application screenupdating false not working
Hello, I trying to run the code above in the office 2013, but the hidden sheet while processing does not appear. Thanks Sub Caixa() Dim myvalue As Variant myvalue = Input Box("P.f.
So from my viewpoint Screen Updating is not working correctly. If you change the setting of something, then when you are through, set it back to the way it was before. There are too many bad possible outcomes that you would not know about until they happen.Platforms; IT settings; UDFs; fatal errors occurring from unforeseen reasons (but they’d seem obvious after they happen when first unforeseen); the list goes on. I cannot tell you how many times in my work I’ve come across a potential bad outcome were the True setting not reset. Formula R1C1 = "=iferror(INDEX(INDIRECT(R46C16), MATCH(C2, INDIRECT(R47C16),0), MATCH(R10C5, INDIRECT(R48C16),0)), IF(IFERROR(OFFSET(INDEX('Default Benchmarks'! Paste Special Paste:=xl Paste Values, Operation:=xl None, _ Skip Blanks:=False, Transpose:=False Send Keys ("") Dim rng As Range Dim byt As Byte For Each rng In Range("e10:g200"). Special Cells( _ xl Cell Type Constants, _ xl Text Values) For byt = 1 To Len(rng. I have an existing workbook (which worked perfectly fine in 2010) and in the main sheet of the workbook there is an index of existing sheets for the user to select. If I switch from Excel to say Outlook and then return to Excel the selected sheet is repainted correctly.
When the user selects the sheet (Using a Radio Button) a procedure is run that selects the sheet and activates it. Screen Updating = False, then some code runs which sets up the sheet and activates it. Now after some investigating I realized that Excel was not done activating the sheet so if I wait long enough the sheet might display.

Third, there might be times when you are running code in sequence and you want to see what you did while you are doing it. Macros Two and Three are called by Macros One and Two, but you cannot see the results of your code until the last macro is completed, unless you had set the Screen Updating back to the way it was in each macro. Screen Updating = False Msg Box "Screen Updating is off now !! Value = "Two" Msg Box "Screen Updating is " & Application.
It bears mentioning in this case that the message boxes give that wild effect if you drag them while Screen Updating is False, very sloppy, all the more reason to set things back to normal as you go. Screen Updating = True Msg Box "Screen Updating is on." Range("A1: A3"). Screen Updating Three End Sub Sub Three() Range("A3").
Visible = False End Sub In this office, the sheet while is doing something not appear, this code is a sample, but i need to use the same thing in a module of a lot of things.
